Have you ever felt a good side kick blasted into your mid section before? Bad, huh! If a good knee blast hit your midsection, it's worst! You may vomit and quit fighting on the spot or even pass out! Bend your knee and look at it in a mirror. Then only you will realize how big it is. A good KAO as we call it in Thai language is like a huge log thrusted at very close range crushing target like the ribs, midsection, groin and even the thighs of your opponent may instantly turn from a growling tiger into a purring cat!

No one does elbow and kneeing techniques like the Thai kick boxers do. You can exchange punches all day wearing head guards and sparring gloves. But with one elbow strike on your face (even with a head guard on), the chances of you getting away unhurt is nil! A good elbow or the SOK as we call it in Thai language will cut the skin and may even crack some bones. One SOK hit the target; another will immediately follow through to finish off the opponent. In ancient days duels, many fighters were killed as victims of vicious elbow combo. If you want to master the art of SOK (elbow) , find an authentic Thai kickboxing school.
